Acadia National Park Trail Access
Head to the back of our yard for direct access to the Acadia Connector Trail which joins the National Park’s iconic carriage roads in less than a mile. This system of 45 miles of carefully groomed, 16-foot wide, crushed gravel roads feature fantastic views of Acadia’s best sights and are perfect for families on foot or biking.
Bar Harbor & Acadia Shuttle Bus
June 23, 2023 through October 9, 2023.
The convenient Island Explorer shuttle bus system is a free, public transportation system that links together many of Mount Desert Island’s most popular sites and attractions using low-emission, propane powered buses. We’re lucky to have the bus stop directly in front of the Acadia Inn on its Eden Street route. Guests can leave their vehicles conveniently parked in our lots during the entirety of their Acadia vacation. You can check bus schedules online or head to our front desk to ask for help from our friendly staff.
